Love Island stars banned from going on other reality shows until next year
This yearâs Love Island contestants may have to wait a while before they follow in the footsteps of fellow former stars appearing on more reality TV shows as itâs been claimed that their contracts forbid them from doing so straight away.
According to The Sun, the likes of Hugo Hammond and Millie Court from the current series of the hit ITV2 show wonât be able to appear on programmes like Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice without ITVâs consent until at least March 2022.
In an unverified leaked contract, itâs claimed that this yearâs stars have had to sign a contract that has gives strict guidelines on what they can and canât do once their time on the dating series is over.

Itâs also suggested that the islanders âcannot contribute or appear on any podcast without approvalâ from show bosses.
An industry source added: âIslanders will have been able to read what they are signing up for but itâs one of the strictest contracts Iâve ever seen â" they have no experience of the industry so I doubt they would have understood the implications.
